This is mine. It's a dare license plate which I got because it's all black, unlike the boring white yellow and blue normal PA plates. Who else has a cool or different plate?

My truck has University of Illinois plates on it (which have a blue and orange I from the school's logo) and the license number is LLIN1. Using the I on the plate its a play on Illini...the mascot and such. Corvette has regular ol plates on it, but I didn't want to attract anymore attention since I only run a rear plate. When I had my TBSS, which was black, smoked taillights, and gunmetal wheels, I had U of I plates, but the number was SSTLTH (get it...stealth...with 2 S's)

I guess this counts... The car is a 1972 Cutlass Supreme originally from NC. So I figured I might as well find a NC plate from 72 for it. It originally belonged to Wilmer David Mizell . A pitcher turned congressman turned aid to Reagan.

Oh and 23 was Micheal Jordan's number when he played for NC.

My first thought seeing that was MJ which immediately makes it an awesome plate!

Oh yea, an added bonus is it pretty closely matches the color of the car. And it's good for going through the open road toll lanes. Good luck sending that ticket to the late Wilmer Mizell lol

I'm proud to have Vancouver 2010 Olympic plates.
Other than a unique base for vanity plates , B.C. hasn't really had any other unique bases. The regular base has been around since '85 .
Special plates aren't nearly as common in Canada as they are in the States. Veteran and Olympic plates are the biggest exceptions, and we've only held three Olympics - '67 summer, and '88, & '10 winters. On the other hand, Canada does have the only polar bear-shaped plates in the world, so there's that. Oh, and if you want to see a vast array of odd plates, go to a parking lot in a national park .

No offense but every time I see black DARE plates I cuss out the owner under my breath. I got a DARE plate the year they changed them, so my plate looks just like all the other yellow and blue plates. Hashtag: Jealous.

I have a this one, but only because it was a carry over from my old car.
I wish we had a black plate option, but we have everything but. Fl has about 300 plate options but none of them black.
One cool thing we can do here though is activate an original plate from the year a vintage car was built so you could have an era correct plate on your vintage car.

The Focus has "Support the Horse" plates, and the Dakota has "Adopt a Greyhound" plates. Haven't decided what to get for the Saab yet. Was going to go with collector plates but they changed the rules and now I can't get collector plates on my collector car

I bought my car for its class and style, but with my involvement in Land Speed Racing couldn't resist the temptation to make it the fastest street legal stock block standing mile car of this model. Standing mile is all about torque and acceleration, so it was natural (and a cool pun to select my plate).
After a few road trips with stupid drivers on the freeway I created a plate cover for my front plate. I know you cant really read in from the car in front of me, but it made me feel better (use a mirror to read).
